Latest News April 20, 2008… Abbicadabra rolls to 2nd straight win! Abbicadabra bided her time in second for a half-mile today before finding another gear and rolling to an easy five-length victory in a $5,000 claimer at Pimlico. Horacio Karamans earned the victory, with Abbi paying $6.40 as the 2-1 second choice in the field of five. Abbi broke sharply and was content to allow Sonic Take Off to take the early lead. Abbi stalked just outside of that one before taking command in upper stretch and drawing off for the triumph. The win marked the filly’s second straight triumph. April 6, 2008… Untamed Hero rallies for third. Losing ground midway on the turn, Untamed Hero found another gear and rallied to be third in a $25,000 conditioned claimer today at Laurel. He was beaten just 3 1/4 lengths for all the money. Untamed Hero tracked the leader in the three and four paths around the turn, seemed to tire, then rallied outside. Meanwhile, Rolls Ross had a perfect rail run to win the seven furlong contest over a sloppy, sealed track. The Hero paid $2.10 to show after going off at 2.90-1. Horacio Karamanos had the mount. April 4, 2008… Not just whistling Dixie! That’s Amore Stable today claimed Kim’s Dixie Tune out of a $40,000 claimer for three year-olds which have never won two races. In the one-mile turf test, at Gulfstream Park, the son of Concorde’s Tune out of Mary’sdixiemelody by Honor Grades, came in fourth, beaten 2 1/2 lengths. He sports a record of a win, a second, and four thirds from 11 starts with career earnings of more than $34,000. March 28, 2008… Terri’s T Bird claimed after successful run for That’s Amore. Terri’s T Bird finished fourth today against a hard-hitting field of $14,000 claimers at Laurel and was claimed out of the race. Terri made four starts for That’s Amore, with a stellar 4-2-0-0 record. Thanks, T Bird!
